Keep Calm

The original Keep Calm & Carry On posters were produced in 1939 during WWII. They served as optimistic messages to raise the morale of the British public. This historical poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued and used as a decorative theme. After 50 years these images have become public domain and thus have been reproduced on a large scale. Variations such as " Keep Calm & Look Busy"& "Keep Calm & Have A Beer" have been circulating the internet. The posters distinctive bright color and direct message have been revived once again. Other British public service announcements from this era have begun to be seen on everything from tea towels to screen prints.
